The EUMENIDES is the third part to Aeschylus's Oresteia Trilogy, following AGAMEMNON and THE LIBATION BEARERS both produced by Black Orchid Theatre Group in September and October, respectively to popular and award-winning response from the Theatre Association of New York State.
Having killed his mother (Clymenestra) and her love (Ageisthus) in revenge for their murder of his father (Agamemnon), Orestes flees to find justice from Apollo and Athena, while the Eumenides (aka the Furies) pursue him and demand that he pay for his matricide with his life.
Directed by Craig Hutchison, The EUMENIDES features Claudia Terry as Clymenestra, Max Stalker-Wilde as Orestes, Hayden Moore as Apollo, Jacqueline Reljic as Athena, Kristin Hardwick as Pythia and Leslie DiLeo, Amelia V. Anderson, Chloe Bivona, Margaret O'Connell and Giuliana Asaro as the Eumenides.
